July 06, 2022

MAKKAH — As many as 300 persons with disabilities arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to perform Hajj this year, as part of a national initiative launched by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for the second year in a row.

The initiative aims to enable people with disabilities and orphans in all regions of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj with ease and tranquility, as part of the efforts made by the Kingdom’s government to serve them, in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030.

The ministry is keen to provide them with escorts and suitable housing equipped with all facilities needed by them in Makkah and the holy sites taking into account their conditions. There will be volunteers to serve them around the clock. — SPA
