RIYADH —
The Presidency of State Security has confirmed that the only body authorized to deliver donations abroad Saudi Arabia is King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

The Presidency of State Security made these remarks in a statement through its official account on the Twitter platform, warning everyone against communicating or donating through unknown parties.

The State Security said that people who wish to deliver donations outside Saudi Arabia can donate only through the only authorized body to deliver donations outside the Kingdom, which is the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

It warned everyone against participating in any messages, responding or circulating invitations that are sent by anonymous external parties which call for collecting funds or donations in order to contribute to charitable work outside the Kingdom.

The Public Prosecution had announced earlier that it had banned establishment of websites via the information network to collect donations that aimed at financing terrorist organizations, which are disguised under the name of charitable work outside Saudi Arabia or any donation and charity in this regard.

Every person who is proven to have committed a cybercrime by creating websites for terrorist organizations on the information network or through a computer to finance these organizations will be punished.

The punishment includes imprisonment of up to 10 years in addition to a fine reaches SR5 million, the Public Prosecution affirmed.
