Deputy FM attends 60th Independence Day celebrations in Burundi

BUJUMBURA — On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Waleed Al Khereiji, participated here on Friday in the celebration ceremony of Burundi on the occasion of Burundi's 60th Independence Day.

During the ceremony, the Deputy Foreign Minister conveyed the congratulations and greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, to President Evariste Ndayishimiye of the Republic of Burundi, and their best wishes of permanent good health and happiness to him and further progress and prosperity to the Government and people of Burundi.

President of Burundi received later Al Khereiji, in one-to-one meeting. They discussed the friendship between the two countries and peoples and ways to strengthen aspects of bilateral cooperation in various fields, in addition to regional and international developments and efforts made in their regard. — SG
