NAUSS chief explains symposium aims to shed light on alternatives to penalties

RABAT — The scientific symposium “Alternative Punishments to freedom-depriving punishments” kicked off here Tuesday, which is organized by the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) in cooperation with the Presidency of the Moroccan Public Prosecution and with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in the presence of more than 140 specialists in the fields of justice, justice and police services in Arab countries.

During the opening session, NAUSS President Dr. Abdul Majeed Bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan explained that the symposium aims to shed light on alternatives to penalties and measures that deprive of freedom in Arab and non-Arab legislation in terms of codification and application. — SPA
