The terminal is equipped with all necessary facilities and preparations to serve pilgrims and complete their entry procedures, until they leave after performing Hajj rituals.

The Jeddah Islamic Port had started receiving pilgrims since mid-Dhul Qadah, amidst a system of services including advanced devices for inspecting and transporting the luggage of pilgrims to arrival terminals, carts to transport the bags of arriving pilgrims, providing several modern buses for the transfer of pilgrims, some of which were dedicated to transport patients and the elderly.

The preparations also included providing qualified human personnel from various fields to supervise operations and administrate technical affairs, in addition to preparing several equipment and machinery concerned with security, safety and cases of ambulance and fire, among other assisting services.

Pilgrims expressed their happiness at the warm welcome and ease of finishing their procedures easily, voicing their gratitude to the Saudi government’s interest and care for pilgrims coming from across the world to perform Hajj rituals, praising the good organization of procedures. — SPA
