CAIRO — Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in Cairo Friday, starting an official two-day visit to Egypt.

The Qatari Amir was received at the Cairo International Airport by Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian Presidency said in a statement.

During the visit, the Qatari and Egyptian leaders would held talks over means to upgrade bilateral cooperation in a variety of domains. They would also discuss the latest regional and international developments of common concern. — Agencies
