Crown Prince arrives in Jordan, will visit Turkey next

AMMAN — Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, arrived in Jordan on Tuesday and was welcomed by Jordanian King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah.



The Crown Prince arrived in Amman from Egypt after concluding a two-day visit to Egypt.

At the Cairo International Airport, the Crown Prince was seen off by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The Crown Prince’s visit to Jordan is part of a tour that will include visiting Turkey next.

The visits are based on the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. They aim to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s relations with those countries.

The Crown Prince will discuss with the leaders of Egypt, Jordan and Turkey, ways to enhance bilateral relations and issues of common interest. — SG
