NEW YORK — Counsellor Sulaiman Mohammed Sulaiman Al-Anbar has presented his credentials to UN Secretary-General António Guterres as the new Permanent Observer of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States to the United Nations.

The Secretary-General congratulated Al-Anbar on his appointment, wishing him success in his mission to enhance the process of joint Gulf action, and looking forward to the continuation of cooperation between the UN and the GCC.

Al-Anbar expressed his appreciation to the UN Secretary-General, stressing his keenness to make every effort to promote and develop bilateral cooperation. — SPA
