JEDDAH — The Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Education launched on Monday an extracurricular activity project called "Reflections on Saudi and International Art" with the goal of improving students' knowledge of the most important works of art in the Kingdom, in the Arabian Peninsula region, and various civilizations throughout history.

It also aims to enhance knowledge and aesthetic taste among male and female students by recognizing the most important components and parts of world-famous objects and connecting them to Saudi art.

The activity is also aimed at all intermediate and secondary school students in public, private and international schools.

The activity will deliver virtual electronic educational content on the Madrasati (My School) platform, which houses the world's most notable pieces of art and architecture in a variety of creative fields, including painting, sculpture and other art forms.
