JEDDAH —
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has emphasized that imams of mosques who lead Tahajjud Prayer in the last ten days of Ramadan need to finish it well before the call to Fajr prayer with sufficient break so that worshippers will not be overburdened.

The ministry also directed mosque imams to adhere to the Prophet's guidance with regard to the qunoot and all other duaas by sticking to the invocations narrated from the Prophet.

The ministry called on imams to avoid prolonging the supplications and turning them into sermons. They should also avoid exaggerated voice and rhyming but should pray with humility and piety.

At the same time, the ministry urged everyone to increase their prayers for the rulers of the country and the soldiers who are stationed to protect the borders during the rest of Ramadan.
