SRCA, SDRPY support health sector in Yemen

The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) announced Tuesday the provision of urgent and immediate support to support the capabilities of Yemeni medical centers and hospitals.

RIYADH — The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) announced Tuesday the provision of urgent and immediate support to support the capabilities of Yemeni medical centers and hospitals.

The support is to allocate and provide 30 ambulances and highly equipped urgent response vehicles.

This announcement was made during the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between SDRPY and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, in Riyadh.

They seek to build and raise the quality of health services in Yemen, and unify Saudi efforts provided in the health sector in Yemen, which contribute to achieving development and reconstruction efforts in Yemen.

The SDRPY was represented during the signing by the general supervisor of the program Ambassador Mohammed Bin Saeed Al Jaber and the SRCA was also represented by the head of the authority Dr. Jalal Bin Mohammed Al-Owais. — SPA
