Program for distributing dates and Ramadan Iftar inaugurated in South Africa

JOHANNESBURG — The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Embassy in South Africa, inaugurated Saturday the Gift Program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to distribute dates and Ramadan Iftar (food baskets) for the year 2022.

The program aims to distribute 2,500 food baskets and 11 tons of dates to needy families in South Africa throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa Sultan Al-Lwihan Al-Anqari and a number of officials attended the inauguration ceremony. — SPA
