Saudi-Jordanian panel welcome increasing volume of trade exchange between countries

AMMAN — The Saudi-Jordanian Joint Committee held here Tuesday a meeting, in the presence of Minister of Transport and Logistics and Head of the Saudi side at the Saudi-Jordanian Joint Committee Eng. Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser.

The two sides welcomed the increasing volume of trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Jordan via finding practical solutions facing the private sector in the two countries, urging businesspeople to exchange commercial information in the Saudi and Jordanian markets.

During the meeting, a number of joint agreements were signed in the fields of railways, transport, communications, information technology, customs, municipal affairs, engineering, construction, Islamic and cultural affairs, media and education.

The Saudi-Jordanian Joint Committee discussed cooperation in the field of tourism and national heritage by exchanging experiences in the field of cruise ships by stimulating inter-tourism for international visitors between the two countries.

The two sides called for the establishment of joint value-added projects in the two countries to exploit the competitive advantage of each country and take advantage of the privileges contained in the agreement to facilitate and develop trade exchange. — SPA
