RIYADH — The United Kingdom and the United States led the world's condemnation of the Houthi militia's continuation in launching bomb-laden drones towards Saudi Arabia, in a systematic and deliberate manner, targeting safe civilians and civilian facilities.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson expressed his strong condemnation of Houthi attacks on vital sites in Saudi Arabia, stressing that the attacks endanger the lives of civilians and must stop.

For his part, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said: "We strongly condemn  this week’s multiple Houthi terrorist attacks on Saudi Arabia, including today’s that struck an Aramco facility in Jeddah, which is clearly civilian infrastructure."

Also, The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf led a host of condemnation, in the strongest terms, of the Houthi militia's continuation in launching bomb-laden drones towards the southern region, in a systematic and deliberate manner, targeting safe civilians and civilian facilities.

Dr. Al-Hajraf stressed that the continued attacks and targeting of civilian facilities and power stations pose a threat to security and stability, and harm the global economy and energy supplies, which requires the international community to take a firm stand against these attacks that violate international law.

The Secretary General praised the high efficiency and constant vigilance of the Saudi air defense forces, which were able to intercept and destroy 9 drones, stressing the solidarity of the GCC countries with Saudi Arabia against everything that targets its security, stability and territorial integrity.

In Makkah, the Muslim World League (MWL) expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the hostile attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia against a number of vital civil and economic facilities in a number of regions of the Kingdom.

MWL Secretary-General Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, condemned the Houthi militia’s continued systematic terrorist crimes, targeting civilians and civilian facilities. Further, he warned against the deliberate and repeated attempts of Houthi terrorist militia to target the security and stability of global energy supplies.

The MWL Secretary-General also reiterated full solidarity with the Kingdom in all the measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.

In Cairo, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit condemned the attacks launched by Houthi militia on vital and oil facilities in the Kingdom.

Aboul Gheit considered the continued launching of the booby-trapped drones by Houthi group towards the southern region of the Kingdom as a dangerous terrorist act that poses a grave threat to security in the region and global energy supplies.

He praised at the same time the efficiency and vigilance of the Saudi armed forces. in dealing with these terrorist attacks. He urged the international community to deal more firmly with these terrorist operations, and the ongoing violations of international law and international humanitarian law.

The Arab Parliament also strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia’s targeting of Aramco’s petroleum products distribution station in Jeddah, as well as its launch of a number of ballistic missiles and drones towards civilian buildings and energy facilities in several regions in the Kingdom.

In a statement, the Arab Parliament said that the continuation of Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia, and the targeting of petroleum products distribution stations is a cowardly terrorist act for targeting vital facilities, and subjects one of the most important strategic commodities in the world to risk.

This requires a firm international stance to confront terrorist acts, and to hold the planners, supporters and financiers and those who stand behind them accountable, whether they are individuals, groups or states, especially after the Houthi group was classified as a terrorist organization.

The Arab Parliament expressed its full confidence in the ability of Saudi Arabia to defeat terrorism and terrorist groups, stressing its full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support in confronting firmly everything that threatens its security and stability and prejudices its interests.

In Tunis, the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers expressed its strong condemnation and absolute denunciation of the repeated attacks being carried out by Houthi terrorist militia targeting safe civilians, civilian objects and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia, including its attempt to target the petroleum products distribution station in Jeddah, and its launch of a number of ballistic missiles and booby-trapped drones towards several regions in the Kingdom.

The General Secretariat affirmed that these cowardly attacks not only target civilians, the security of the Kingdom and the stability of the region, but also energy supplies and harm the global economy. The statement said that this Iranian-backed terrorist militia is trying, through its systematic attacks, to thwart the good and commendable efforts to help the Yemeni people and alleviate their suffering, and the efforts made to resolve the Yemeni crisis and end the war in this dear country.

The General Secretariat of the Council of Interior Ministers reiterated its full support for all the measures taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its security, stability and sovereignty of its territory. It also commended the heroic roles played by the valiant Saudi Air Force and the coalition forces in thwarting these threats.

Egypt too affirmed its absolute condemnation and rejection of the terrorist acts of the terrorist Houthi militia, and any cowardly act targeting the security and stability, and its vital and civilian facilities and installations, the latest of which was targeting an Aramco petroleum products distribution station in Jeddah and tanks belonging to the National Water Company, in addition to an electricity distribution station, of Saudi Arabia.

Egypt reiterated its standing side by side with the Kingdom in the measures it takes to maintain its security, stability and the safety of its citizens, based on the close bond of the national security of the two fraternal countries.

The statement stressed the danger of Houthi militia's continuation of these hostile acts, which are a serious and direct threat to security and stability in the region, and to the safety of energy supplies, citing them as flagrant violation of the principles and rules of international law.

In Abu Dhabi, the UAE expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of Houthi terrorist militia's systematic and deliberate targeting of civilian objects, economic and vital facilities with ballistic missiles and booby-trapped drones in a number of regions in the Kingdom.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed that the continuation of these attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia is a challenge to the international community and the efforts made to end the Yemeni crisis as well as a disregard for all international laws and norms, urging the international community to firmly take an immediate position to halt these repeated acts, and support the measures being taken by the joint forces of Coalition.

Bahrain too condemned the Houthi terrorist group’s continued firing of ballistic missiles and booby-trapped drones towards oil facilities and civilian areas of Saudi Arabia, strongly denouncing the targeting of the petroleum products distribution station in Jeddah, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that targeting oil facilities in the Kingdom is a threat to the security and stability of global energy supplies, stressing the need for the international community to stand firm against these systematic and repeated attacks.

The State of Qatar also strongly condemned targeting two oil facilities in Jeddah and Jazan of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that targeting oil installations and vital facilities is a dangerous act of sabotage that contradicts all international norms and laws, and would affect the security and stability of global energy supplies.

In Kuwait, Kuwait too condemned and denounced, in the strongest terms, Houthi militia's cowardly terrorist act of launching a number of bomb-laden drones towards the southern, central and eastern regions of Saudi Arabia.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that this cowardly terrorist operation does not only target civilians, civilian areas, the security of the Kingdom and the stability of the region, but also targets the sources of global energy supplies at a time when the world is seeking to support the stability of these supplies and ensure their flow, which requires the international community to move quickly and decisively to deter these attacks and hold the perpetrators accountable.

In Paris, France condemned in the strongest terms the attacks carried out by Houthi militia on vital and civilian facilities of Saudi Arabia. The French Foreign Ministry confirmed that these attacks threaten the security of the Kingdom and the stability of the region, calling for a halt to these attacks and the resumption of discussions to reach a comprehensive political agreement under the auspices of the United Nations.

In Amman, the Jordanian government strongly condemned the ongoing attacks of the Houthi militia on the territories of Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was the launch of a ballistic missile and booby-trapped drones at civilian buildings and energy facilities located in several regions, which were intercepted and destroyed by the Saudi air defenses.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Ambassador Haitham Abu Al-Ful reiterated Jordan's strong condemnation and denunciation of these cowardly terrorist attacks, stressing his country's solidarity and its absolute support for Saudi Arabia against any act that threatens its security and the security of its people.

In Khartoum, Sudan has strongly condemned the ongoing launch by Houthi terrorist militia of booby-trapped drones towards the regions of Saudi Arabia, which represents a flagrant violation and endangering the life of civilians and civilian facilities.

In a statement, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the attacks a dangerous escalation in the region, requiring vigilance and taking all necessary measures to deter this terrorist group. Sudan has affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom against everything that threatens its security and stability.

In Jerusalem, Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas condemned in the strongest terms all kinds of hostile and criminal acts targeting the security and stability of Saudi Arabia and contradict the international and humanitarian laws, norms and ethics. President Abbas confirmed absolute stand and solidarity with the Kingdom in whatever stops such terrorist attacks.

Pakistan Saturday condemned in the strongest words the missile and drone-led hostile attacks launched by the Houthi terrorist organization targeting the infrastructure and oil facilities in different parts of Saudi Arabia, lauding the successful interception and their destruction by the Saudi defense forces.

Pakistan's Foreign Ministry called for immediate stoppage of such attacks which violate the international laws and threaten the safety and security of Saudi Arabia.

Algeria too strongly condemned the hostile attacks which targeted Saudi Arabia. In a statement issued by the Presidency palace, Algeria said that, following yesterday's terrorist attack targeting Saudi Arabia inflicting damage of some economic facilities, Algeria announces its absolute stand and solidarity with Saudi Arabia.— SGSPA
