JAZAN — The Director-General of the Jazan Mountains Development Authority, Eng. Dafer Ayed Al-Fahad, received recently a delegation of Shoura Council members from the Council’s specialized committees headed by Dr. Soliman Ali Alfifi.

This visit to Jazan region comes in line with the directives of the Kingdom’s leadership, in an effort to achieve integration between the Shoura Council and the regional councils to meet the developmental needs of citizens at the highest quality standards, in accordance with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The Director General of the Authority greeted the members of the Shoura Council, presented the achievements of the Authority and discussed the requirements to continue the development of the mountainous governorates in the region.

Al-Fahad also demonstrated the Authority's efforts in coordinating with ministries and government agencies such as the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Education and the General Entertainment Authority, to develop investment opportunities and rural tourism in the mountainous governorates and include them within the programs, activities and events for each ministry.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Region Council, the Governor of Faifa and the Governor of Al-Daer. — SG
