LIBREVILLE — President Ali Bongo Ondimba of Gabon received Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan and his accompanying delegation, it was reported on Friday.

At the outset, Qattan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to the president and their best wishes of steady progress and prosperity to the government and people of Gabon.

In turn, President Ondimba extended his greetings to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their support and the exchange of friendly relations between the two countries, wishing the government and people of Saudi Arabia steady progress and prosperity.

Qattan and President Ondimba reviewed the relations of cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Gabon Abdulrahman bin Salem Al-Dahas. — SPA
