Jordan PM lauds KSrelief’s humanitarian assistance to refugees

AMMAN — Jordan's Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Hani Al-Khasawneh met with the General Supervisor of Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, in Amman, it was reported on Friday.

Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairy was also present at the meeting.

The prime minister voiced his country's pride in the fraternal and historical ties linking the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He expressed sincere thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince as well as KSrelief for the great humanitarian aid provided to Syrian refugees lodged in Al-Zaatari camp in Jordan and the needy people in other Jordanian governorates. He noted the distinguished achievements of the center to serve humanitarian work around the world.

For his part, Dr. Al-Rabeeah expressed his gratitude for the facilities provided by the Jordanian government to KSrelief to perform its humanitarian work to the fullest. He said the center is working hard to improve the living conditions of refugees in Jordan and provide them with necessary assistance. — SPA
