RIYADH — The Supreme Organizing Committee of the first Saudi Games has announced the postponement of the event to the last quarter of 2022.

The games, one of the initiatives of the Quality of Life program under Saudi Vision 2030, was previously scheduled to be conducted from March 10 to 20.

The postponement was decided to allow the participation of the largest number of athletes possible, in addition to conducting pre-qualifiers to ensure opportunity for all, said a statement posted on the Games’ official Twitter account.

The run-up to the event witnessed a scouting process for thousands of participants in the general category after coordination with relevant sports federations.
