Benin supports the Kingdom’s bid to host World Expo 2030

PORTO-NOVO, — President Patrice Talon of the Republic of Benin received Monday an official Saudi delegation headed by Advisor at the Royal Court Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Qattan.

At the outset of the meeting, Advisor Qattan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, and their wishes to the government and people of the Republic of Benin for progress and prosperity.

In turn, President Patrice Talon sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and the government and people of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, the President of Benin expressed his country's support for the Kingdom's bid to host the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh.

The two sides also reviewed the bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in all aspects to serve the aspirations of the two countries.

This is in addition to discussing the latest regional and international events and issues of mutual interest.

Advisor Qattan expressed the Kingdom’s appreciation of the president’s support, which emanates from the solid bilateral ties. — SPA
