GACA, Matarat Holding WDS pavilion will showcase civil aviation sector strategy

RIYADH — The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and Matarat Holding are participating in the First Edition of the World Defense Show in Riyadh, which is taking place from March 6 to 9, 2022, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI).

The two sides’ pavilion will showcase the civil aviation sector strategy, which will shed light on the available investment opportunities in the sector, in addition to highlighting the Kingdom's hosting of a global aviation summit in 2022.

The pavilion will also include the national strategy for the civil aviation sector, a presentation of the latest modern technologies in airport security and aviation security programs, in addition to an overview of the civil aviation sector's projects in building, developing, and improving the Kingdom's airports.

It will also highlight the security and safety standards of the civil aviation sector, in addition to displaying opportunities for cooperation between the civil aviation sector and the military sector by developing new opportunities in the Kingdom and enabling mutual support for economic growth.

The pavilion also includes several participating parties, including the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation, and Matarat Holding affiliate companies.

The World Defense Show, the leading global event in the defense and security sector, will showcase the latest defense and security industry technologies in the land, sea, air, space, and information security, in an ideal environment for communication, innovation, and stimulating partnerships.

It will also review the capabilities of operational compatibility systems, which are among the most important trends in the global defense and security industry. — SPA
