Guyana’s President receives Saudi minister

Guyana’s President Dr. Irfaan Ali received Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and member of the Council of Ministers Adel Aljubeir, during his official visit to the country, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

During the reception, Aljubeir conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to the President, the Government, and people of Guyana, and wishes for continued stability, progress, and prosperity.

The two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, the prospects for joint cooperation and ways to reinforce them in various fields. They also discussed several regional and international issues and developments of common interest.

Guyana’s Prime Minister Mark Phillips and senior officials attended the meeting.
