RIYADH — Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has dropped fees for issuing customs statements on Saudi exports.

The move comes with the aim of empowering local industries and promoting exports, facilitating their customs procedures and enhancing the export environment in Saudi Arabia.

ZATCA said that it embarked on applying the new procedures on all Saudi exports, noting that this step will contribute to supporting national industries, enhancing their growth, facilitating the export process and related logistic services, in addition to supporting the targets and aspirations of the Kingdom in increasing its international competitiveness. — SG
