DUBAI — The pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Expo 2020 Dubai has celebrated welcoming 3 million visitors from various Arab and non-Arab nationalities, in addition to the high-level diplomatic delegations from various countries.
This has set a new record, which equals 25 percent of the total visitors of Expo 2020 Dubai, and continued at the same time realizing the biggest visits percentages in the history of international Expo exhibitions. This new achievement adds to the achievements and records that the pavilion has been realizing since its official opening on Oct. 1.
With the start of the countdown to announce the number of expected visits, pavilion employees and audience assembled in the external square of the pavilion in the Opportunity Area in Expo before launching fireworks and laser lights to announce the new record.
This is in addition to displaying a short movie on the pavilion’s achievements as the traditional Saudi Al-Ardha dance Troupe joined the celebration with the rhythms of national songs, which attracted more visitors to celebrate this distinguished occasion. The hosts invited all attendees to the ceremony that was held at the palm park in the pavilion.
The Saudi Arabia’s pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai, over the past few months, has attracted visitors through its diversified events, activities and weeks that reflect the humanitarian richness and civil and development components of the Kingdom, based on four main factors of the rich nature, vibrant society, deep-rooted heritage and economic opportunities that Saudi Arabia offers to the world. — SPA
