Ministry of Sports announces a 100% capacity increase at Saudi–Oman football match

The Ministry of Sport announced on Tuesday a 100% increase in the stadium capacity for the fans to attend Saudi–Oman football match.

The ministry explained that the match, which will take place on Thursday at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, will be limited only for the vaccinated fans with the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the minimum age for getting the vaccination, which is five years, through to their status in Tawakalna app.

In order to preserve fans safety and health, the Ministry stressed the necessity of fully adhering to the precautionary measures and wearing masks at all times, calling on the concerned authorities to follow up the implementation of preventive precautions, and to take all necessary measures in the event that any violations were detected.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi national team's match against Oman is the seventh round of the final Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
