RIYADH — Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid Bin Salman reaffirmed that Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states are striving to bring Yemen within the GCC system so that its people can enjoy security, stability and development like the people of other Gulf states.

“The Houthi militias have chosen terrorism and destruction and used the people of Yemen as firewood to serve the agenda of the Iranian regime,” Prince Khalid said in statements on his Twitter account. “We assure the people of Yemen that they are from us and we are from them, and we will always be on their side,” he said.

Prince Khalid noted that false promises and repeated illusions are being propagated by the Houthi militias to deceive the sons of Yemen, Arabism, and recruit them into a war that is deadly for them.

He called on the wise men of Yemen to renounce these wrong notions and promises, and to safeguard the free people of Yemen from the tampering of terrorist militias.
