Central Support Unit verifies 1.2m notarial applications

January 17, 2022

RIYADH — The Notarial Central Support Unit has verified and certified over 1.2 million applications since October 2020, revealed the Ministry of Justice (MoJ).

The applications include 159,000 marriage e-contracts and 200,000 title deed digitization requests. Other applications include registration of corporate accounts and probate certifications.

“The Central Support Unit works to enhance the digital transformation of notarial services and provide a unified operations center with standardized processes,” the MoJ said.

“It adopts technologies that support smart systems, decides on areas for strategic and rapid improvement, and governs digital notarial procedures.”

Acting as the operational arm of the ministry's division for notarization and property registration, the department employs well-qualified notaries and provides a permanent digital channel for communication with internal and external agencies. — SG
