SINGAPORE — President Halimah Yacob of Singapore received on Thursday Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan during an official visit here.

During the reception, Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to Yacob, the government and the people of Singapore.

The Singapore President conveyed her greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince and to the Saudi government and people.

They reviewed relations between the two countries and opportunities to enhance cooperation in all fields. They discussed a number of issues of common interest and major developments regionally and internationally.

They also explored opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries and expanding them to broader horizons in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The talks touched upon the efforts of the two countries to protect the planet, and the green initiatives announced by the Kingdom.
