AGFUND chief inaugurates Arab Blog for Sustainable Development

CAIRO — Prince Abdulaziz Bin Talal, president of Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND), inaugurated the "Arab Blog for Sustainable Development: The System of Values, Behaviors and Skills", and "Interactive Education Model ... Transforming Our World", during the celebration held here Wednesday and organized by the Arab Network for NGOs in cooperation with the Arab League and the AGFUND.

In his speech on this occasion, Prince Abdulaziz stressed that the launch of the Arab Blog of Sustainable Development is an achievement that reflects the continuous Arab contribution to sustainable development, and confirms the merit of youth energies and ability.

He said that the initiative of the "Arab Blog for Sustainable Development", which was issued in 2020, constituted a pivotal step in keeping pace with sustainable development work in its integrated tripartite concept based on economic growth, conservation of natural resources and the environment, and social development.

He pointed to the importance of spreading a culture of sustainability and empowerment among civil organizations, and the achievement of a clear knowledge map that enhances the capabilities of Arab civil work entities, and supports, encourages and sponsors national, regional and international efforts and initiatives in this field. — SPA
