King Abdulaziz Camel Festival allocates SR88m cash prizes

RIYADH — The King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in its sixth edition has allocated cash prizes amounting to SR88 million, the biggest of their kind in the world, for which hundreds of the most prominent owners of local, Arab, and international camels are competing.

The race is comprised of 219 rounds, where the first in each of the general round gets SR150,000, while in the Bakkar category, the winner gets SR700,000, and SR500,000 for the Qaadan category.

In the Zamool and Heil finals, the first-place winner gets a SR3 million prize, the second gets SR1 million and the third receives SR500,000.

In the open and general Zoal round, the first winner will receive SR1.5 million, while the second will receive SR700,000. — SPA
