RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman sent on Friday a cable of congratulations to Gen. Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan, on the occasion of his country's Independence Day.

In his cable, the King expressed sincere feelings Ge. Al-Burhan on the occasion of Sudan Independence Day, wishing him permanent health and happiness and the government and people of the brotherly Republic of Sudan further progress and prosperity.

Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, also sent a congratulatory cable to Gen. Al-Burhan on the occasion.

In his cable, the Crown Prince expressed his warmest greetings to Gen. Al-Burhan, wishing him health and happiness and the government and people of Sudan steady progress and prosperity.

Meanwhile, King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent separate cables congratulating President Miguel Diaz-Canel of Cuba on the Liberation Day of his country.

The Saudi leaders expressed warm greetings to the president, wishing him good health and happiness and the government and people of Cuba progress and prosperity.

Also on Friday, King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent cables of congratulations to President of Slovakia Zuzana Caputova on the anniversary of her country’s Proclamation of the Republic.

In their congratulatory messages, the King and the Crown Prince wished the President good health and happiness, and further progress and prosperity to the government and people of Slovakia. — SPA
