RIYADH –
Brig. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, said that a large number of civilians, including Saudis and foreign nationals, have been killed in the attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia targeting Saudi Arabia.

Saudi citizens topped the list of the victims who died when the Houthi militia, with the involvement of the Lebanese terrorist Hezbollah, deliberately targeted civilians while attacking the Kingdom. A total of 59 Saudis have been killed in the attacks and these included 34 men, eight women and 17 children.

One Saudi citizen and a Yemeni national were killed in the latest Houthi attack last Saturday when a military projectile hit the Samta governorate in the southern region of Jazan.

Al-Maliki said Yemen ranked second in terms of the number of casualties caused by Houthi-Hezbollah terrorism in the Kingdom, with claiming the lives of 11 Yemeni men, three women and six children. Indians came third in the number of casualties with the death of 14 men while Pakistanis came fourth with nine deaths, including a child. A total of eight Bangladeshis including a child, and four Egyptians were also killed.

The Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia also claimed lives of one national each from Nepal, the Philippines, Sudan and Syria, the spokesman added.
