King, Crown Prince offer condolences to Philippine president

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines after Super Typhoon Rai hit southern and central parts of the island nation, resulting in deaths and devastation. In his cable, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shared with the president and the friendly people of the Philippines his deepest condolences and profound sympathy on the human losses resulting from the affliction that hit several cities of the country. The monarch wished the injured a speedy recovery and the missing people safe return home. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, has sent a similar cable of condolences to President Duterte.
