JEDDAH — Deputy Minister of Sports Badr Bin Abdurrahman Al-Qadi crowned Serbian Liman team with the trophy of the first place for 3x3 Basketball World Tour Finals Cup 2021, which concluded Saturday in King Abdullah Economic City in Jeddah.

The tournament was organized by the Ministry of Sports in cooperation with the Saudi Basketball Federation, and held under the supervision of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), with the participation of 12 international basketball teams.

Held as one of the initiatives of the "Quality of Life" program, the tournament was hosted by the Kingdom for the third time. The prize ceremony took place in the presence of FIBA President Hamane Niang; President of the Saudi Basketball Federation Dr. Ghassan Tashkandi and the Head of the 3×3 Activities Department at FIBA Iganesu Serrano.

The Serbian Liman team won the title after gaining a 21-14 victory in the final match against the Russian Gagarin basketball team. As the title winner, Liman received $60,000, while the second-placed team received $40,000. — SPA
