Burkina Faso minister lauds Saudi relief work around the world

RIYADH — Burkina Faso's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, African Integration and Burkinabe Abroad Alpha Barry has praised the humanitarian efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), to assist affected countries around the world as well as all the support provided for Burkina Faso.

He made the remarks on Wednesday during a visit to the headquarters of KSrelief, where he met with KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Planning and Development Dr. Aqil bin Jamaan Al-Ghamdi. The minister was briefed on the center’s projects implemented in Burkina Faso, which include 11 projects with a value of $6.378 million in the fields of health, food security and others.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed issues of common interest related to humanitarian and relief affairs. — SPA
