Prince Saud Bin Abdullah attends SAMF’s special show

JEDDAH — Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Jalawi, advisor to the Governor of Makkah region and acting governor of Jeddah, attended at Jeddah Corniche waterfront Friday evening, the launch of the live shows of the Red Bull Racing (RBR) team.

The event was also attended by Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Al Abdullah Al-Faisal, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), who is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Motorsport Company (SMC).

The event comes as part of the preparations of SAMF to organize the largest sports and entertainment event in the history of Saudi Arabia: "Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix", which will be hosted by Jeddah Corniche Circuit Dec. 3-5, 2021.

These live shows were held in partnership with the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the Ministry of Sports represented by SAMF and the Quality of Life Program.

Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Jalawi also attended a special presentation of Williams FW07/01 racing car, sponsored by Saudia, which was the winner of 1979 Dutch Grand Prix, driven by our-time IndyCar Series World Champion Dario Franchitti.

The live shows included thrilling live shows of the famous Red Bull Racing RB8 Formula 1 racing car driven by four time World Champion Sebastian Vettel and his former Red Bull Racing F1 teammate Mark Webber in 2012, and won F1 Driver and Constructor Championship.

The shows included an acrobatic parachute by the world champions in this category, in addition to motorcycle parades, as well as many performances that won the satisfaction and interaction of Jeddah Corniche visitors. — SPA
