Al-Hoqail discusses with UN official ways to benefit from housing experience in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH — Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majed Bin Abdullah Al-Hoqail met in his office Sunday with the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, the Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Program Maimunah Mohammed Sharif and her accompanying delegation.

They discussed opportunities for joint cooperation between the two sides, as well as ways to benefit from the programs and services being provided by the ministry within the municipality and housing sectors.

During the meeting, they also discussed a number of topics of common interest between the two sides, and ways to develop qualitative partnerships between the ministry and the United Nations development programs in the field of infrastructure and housing projects and the promotion of quality of life standards.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Eng. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al-Budair and Prince Saud Bin Talal Bin Badr, the deputy minister for customer experience and beneficiary services, who is also the general supervisor for institutional partnership and international cooperation, and a number of the Ministry’s senior officials. — SPA
