DUBAI — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia participated in the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion at GITEX Technology Week 2021 in Dubai to showcase the most prominent technologies in the field of services being provided by the Kingdom to pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors.

The Ministry’s participation in GITEX Dubai 2021 aims to showcase the artificial intelligence technologies used to organize the pilgrim’s journey through "Sha’air" platform.

The program is linked to a smart card that is a digital identity including all the pilgrim’s journey information as well as his/her medical data mainly to help in organizing the pilgrim's journey and facilitating his/her service to achieve the purpose of the service of the pilgrims by the Kingdom, upgrading their services and developing the work of the pilgrim services system as a whole. — SPA
