Ministry of Health starts giving COVID-19 vaccines booster dose

RIYADH — The Ministry of Health announced that the COVID-19 booster shots is now available. The booster dose is available for all those at age of 18 or above.

The Ministry said that the booster dose could only be taken six months after the date of the second dose.

The Ministry said that people could now book an appointment for the booster dose through “Tawakkalna” and “Sehhati” apps.

The Ministry of Health has already started giving the booster dose to those in high-risk groups, who have been exposed to organ transplants, those who have chronic kidney disease and health workers.

The ministry has urged those in high-risk groups to take the booster dose.
