New COVID-19 cases in KSA stay below 50-mark for 4th day in-a-row

RIYADH — New COVID-19 cases in Saudi Arabia stayed below the 50-mark for the fourth consecutive day after going above the figure, on Thursday, with 48 new infections recorded over the past 24 hours.

The new infections had stayed below the mark for five straight days till it went above 50 on Monday.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, 3 more people died due to complications caused by the virus over the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 547,497 and the virus-related fatalities to 8,739.

According to the ministry, a total of 41 people recovered over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 536,534.

According to the ministry, among the active cases 138 of them were in critical condition.
