September 16, 2021

DUBAI -- Dubai's state-owned Emirates said on Thursday said it would hire 3,000 flight attendants and 500 ground personnel at Dubai airport over the next six months as the airline continues to restore operations hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The airline, which last year laid off thousands of employees, said it was currently operating to 120 cities, representing 90 percent of its pre-pandemic network.

The airline will be operating 70 percent of its capacity by the end of 2021, said a statement. -- Agencies
