August 22, 2021

TABUK — The Tabuk region is currently hosting the "Arabic Calligraphy" murals activities organized by the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the municipality of the region.

The murals of Arabic calligraphy are part of the Ministry of Culture’s efforts to activate the “Year of Arabic Calligraphy 2021” and enhance its presence in society.

The ministry plans to do that through various activities and qualitative initiatives that contribute to highlighting Arabic calligraphy.

The ministry also plans to support talented people and give them the opportunity to display their talents through templates that are creative and innovative.

Artists began painting their creations on the mural of the bridge at the intersection of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Road with King Abdullah Road in Tabuk, painting the word "Tabuk" in the middle.

The event had started from the city of Arar in the Northern Border, then moved to the city of Sakaka in the Al-Jouf region, before arriving in the Tabuk region.

The event will continue its journey, from here, to the Qassim region, and the first phase will conclude in the city of Abha in the Asir region.

The second phase will pass through Al-Baha region, then the Hail region, Madinah, Al-Ahsa, and then the Jazan region.
