King Salman orders urgent aid to Algeria to combat wildfires

RIYADH –
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has ordered to stand by Algeria in its efforts to combat wildfires.

The King has directed the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to send urgent humanitarian aid to help the affected people.

Also on Monday, King Salman held a phone conversation with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria.

During the call, the King offered condolences to the families of those died in the mishap and wished for a speedy recovery for those injured.

On his part, Tebboune thanked the King for his sincere feelings and directive to provide urgent humanitarian aid to the Algerian people.


Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep sorrow and grief over the fire incidents and the human and material losses caused by it.

The ministry offered its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Algerian government and people, asking God Almighty to protect Algeria and perpetuate its security and prosperity.
