RIYADH — The Ministry of Health said that within 10 days the number of students, in theage groups 12-18 who received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, increased by over 80%.

The ministry added that the students showed a great level of awareness with most of them having already booked the second dose, spreading the access of vaccines that protect everyone, for a safe return to schools.

The ministry had earlier said that a whopping majority of university students, academic staff, and employees and have been inoculated against coronavirus.

The male and female university students who are immunized in universities accounted for 87.30 percent, while the rate of immunization among academic staff and employees reached 88.17 percent.
