NEOM —
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman made a phone call to Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported early Friday.

During the call, the Crown Prince inquired about the health of the Brazilian president, wishing him good health and wellness. President Bolonaro expressed his thanks to the Crown Prince for his noble feelings, the SPA report added.

They also reviewed the relations between the two friendly countries and ways of developing them.

The Brazilian president was released from the hospital last month after undergoing treatment for four days for serious intestine problems.

Bolsonaro, 66, was hospitalized after suffering persistent hiccups for 10 days.

There have been concerns about the far-right leader's health since he was stabbed in the intestines while campaigning in 2018.

"Only God can remove me from that chair," Bolsonaro said upon leaving the hospital, in reference to the presidency.

"I wanted to leave from day one, but they didn't let me. I hope in 10 days I'll be eating barbecued ribs, eating anything," he added.
