RIYADH — The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) and Intellectual Warfare Center (IWC) signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday.

The IMCTC Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Pilot Mohammed Al-Moghidi explained that the MoU comes within the framework of enhancing the strategic partnership between IMCTC and IWC to embody the local, regional and international leadership role of the two parties in combating violent extremism.

The MoU will also enhance the common vision with regard to rejecting violent extremism and combating terrorism and its financing, in order to uproot the outlawed phenomenon, and provide initiatives, studies and contributions with the aim of immunizing the world community from its danger.

He pointed out that IMCTC includes a number of countries that represent a moderate Islamic trend against the constant threats of terrorist organizations. — SPA
