Crown Prince meets with Olympic champion Tarek Hamdi

RIYADH —
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, met on Tuesday with Saudi karate champion Tariq Hamdi, who won the silver medal for the Kingdom in the recently concluded Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince congratulated Hamdi on winning the silver medal in the Olympic Games, displaying remarkable karate skills, and wished him more success in the future.

Hamdi expressed his happiness to meet with the Crown Prince and his support for all athletes in general and those interested in karate in particular, which motivates them to bring out their best during international events.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal, who is also the president of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee.
