Saudi Arabia sends coronavirus aid to Vietnam

HANOI —
The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action (KSrelief), the charity arm of Saudi Arabia, delivered on Sunday medical and preventive aid to help the Southeast Asian country combat the coronavirus pandemic.

On behalf of the center, the Chargé d'Affairs at the Saudi Embassy in Vietnam, Wibar Abdullah Al-Basir, handed over the aid to Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Health Terling Quoc Cuong in the capital Hanoi.

The minister expressed the thanks and gratitude of the government of Vietnam to the Saudi government for its support.

The aid comes as an extension of the assistance provided by Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to friendly countries to help them confront the pandemic.
