Prince Khalid visits headquarters of armed forces

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman visited the General Staff Presidency and the headquarters of the Joint Forces Command on Thursday.

Taking to Twitter, Prince Khalid said that the visit was at the direction of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

He
met with defense officials to assess the readiness of the armed forces and the development they have achieved in line with the Crown Prince’s vision in order "to serve our religion, our king and our country".

During the visit, Prince Khalid said he was briefed on all military and defense aspects to achieve the interests and objectives of the Kingdom.

Prince Khalid said he praised the efforts of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen for its ongoing operations.

He also discussed with the leadership of the coalition forces ways to support and enhance their efforts to ensure the security and stability of the region.
