MoH tells students to get vaccinated before Aug. 8 to attend first day of school

RIYADH — The Ministry of Health (MoH) has called on all students over the age of 12 to get the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine before Aug. 8 in order to be able to attend their schools on the first day of the upcoming academic year, which is beginning on Aug. 29.

Recently, the Ministry of Education said in a statement that the ministries of health and education have agreed that all students, boys and girls, aged 12 years and above and all employees of public education as well as students and staffers of universities and Technical and Vocational Training Corporation institutions need to receive two vaccine doses in order to protect them and their families.
