ISLAMABAD — Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan met here on Tuesday with Pakistan’s President Dr. Arif Alvi as part of his visit to Islamabad.
During the meeting with the Pakistani president, the Saudi foreign minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to the government and the people of Pakistan.
Dr. Alvi reciprocated the greetings and congratulated King Salman and Crown Muhammad Bin Salman on the success of this year’s Hajj season with no cases of coronavirus other epidemic diseases recorded.
Pakistan’s president also praised the measures taken by Saudi Arabia to preserve the health and safety of pilgrims amid exceptional circumstances caused by coronavirus and its new variants.
During the meeting, Dr. Alvi and Prince Faisal reviewed historic and solid relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in all fields.
They underlined the importance of exploring investment and available opportunities in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in order to achieve more prosperity and wellbeing for the two countries and their citizens.
